For those who work long business days, or just do not have the time or ability to take their dogs out for breaks, walks or play and stretch time, (morning, mid-day or evenings).

Dog Walking Benefits
Dogs that will benefit from daily walks include those who:

  • May experience separation anxiety
  • May engage in destructive behavior
  • Are high energy and love to play
  • Enjoy the company of other dogs and humans
  • Need exercise and fresh air
  • Require special attention like puppies and senior do

About our Walks…

  • Dog walks are guaranteed regardless of sun, rain or snow.
  • Time is always adjusted to meet the animals specific exercise tolerance and weather conditions
  • Walking is a 30 - 40 minute neighborhood walk (group or private)
  • Play instead of walking? Play and stretch time in owner's backyard also 30 - 40 minute
  • I always carry a cell phone in case of emergency, walk planned routes, have a pouch full of treats,
    and always stoop and scoop.

    Fact – Puppies should only hold their bladders for 2 hours more than how many months old they are
    - eg. 3-month-old puppy can comfortably wait for 5 hours

For those who haven’t got a pet but want someone to come and check in and
around the place while your away, to make sure all is well.

  • Take in newspapers and mail
  • Water plants
  • Alternate lights and curtains for lived in look
  • Security check (windows, doors, that all looks well)
  • Taking out garbage and recycling
  • Shoveling off snow from front walks (within reason)

For those who need reliable and personal care for your home and your pets so they can have a more comfortable and safe stay at home while your away.

  • All House Sitting services included (listed above)
  • Personalized Attention and affection for your pets
  • Let dogs out for backyard break or 20-30 min neighborhood walk
  • Feed and water pets
  • Feed and water horses
  • Medicating of pets
  • Cleaning and maintenance of litter boxes, tanked or caged pets
    (Pocket pet care – hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, birds etc)
  • Turning TV or radio on/off for both the lived in effect but also because it gives most pets company

    • As a Registered Veterinary Technician I can also provide support and assistance in the rehabilitation care of your pets in the comfort of your own home.
    • When extra care is needed after hospitalization, during an illness, or even for the additional needs of a senior pet who can’t manage on their own, I can come and tend to your pets special needs.
    • I will chart your pets condition and progress with each visit which can be either given to your veterinarian, or kept for your own records.

    As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I can provide such services as:

    • Administration of subcutaneous Fluids
    • Check suture incisions and drainage tubes
    • Change or remove bandages
    • Clean wounds
    • Basic dental care
    • Insulin administration
    • Force feeding
    • Monitor Vital Signs
    • NOTE: all medical services must be done following Veterinary Recommendations

    Pocket Pet Boarding: return to top
    $10.00 per day per cage
    For pocket pet owners who don't want them to be left alone at home (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters or small reptiles - just about any caged or tanked critter). Pocket pets can come back to my house and stay until you get back. Service includes: cage changes, feeding, light exposure and daily activities (attempting to remain as close to regular routine as possible).

    Lots and lots of Attention and Affection:
    FREE (with any regular service)
    Finding out what your pet likes most so I can spend quality time with them, Petting? Scratching? Or just playing with a ball or Frisbee. I will do my best to accommodate any extra requests. Please feel free to inquire.Additional fees may apply.

    An extra $10.00 per visit on the following days for
    Pet Sitting, House Sitting, and for Dog Walking Visits

    Accepting Cash, Money Orders, and Checks

    Please Note:
    For House and Pet sitting services, payment must be made with return of key
    (within 5 days of return of client and services rendered).

    In the event of a returned check the client will pay the entire invoice plus a $30.00 NSF fee.

    Sorry, but new services will not be provided if there is an outstanding prior bill.
