About Me

• My name is Sandra Kelley and I LOVE working with animals.
• I have had many years experience working and caring for animals of all shapes and sizes so I am able to provide a wide range of services to you and your pets and enjoy doing it.
• I have been in the Animal Health and Welfare business for 20 years (including positions as an Assistant Groomer, an Animal Control Officer, and a Veterinary Technician).
• Some species I’ve had handling experience with include… Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Gerbils, Rats, Bats, Mice, Chinchillas, Lizards, Snakes, Iguanas, Hedgehogs, Silver Gliders, Squirrels, Raccoons, Skunks, Coyotes, Deer, Most caged birds, Canadian Geese, Ducks, Aquarium fish, and Sheep, Goats, Cattle, Horses… just about every caged or tanked pet that there is!
• A Registered Veterinary Technician for 14 years including time at both a mixed large and small animal clinic, a variety of small animal hospitals, as well as 4 years at a Veterinary Emergency Clinic.
• A 15 year member of the OAVT (Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians). www.oavt.org/about.php
• I am a member of the All Canadian Pet Sitter's Network (www.acpsn.com) a non-profit association dedicated to setting standards of professionalism in the pet care industry.
• Having worked at both Veterinary clinics in Uxbridge as well as others provides me with excellent references and experience.
• I am a mother of two boys and my two furry girls: Comet - my 8-year-old border collie (a great, great friend) and Jones - my 12-year-old cat (slightly pudgy, and mostly grouchy).
• Now I want to begin specializing my talents and giving more personalized care for our little furry friends, I just can’t see myself doing anything other than caring and tending to the needs of our pets.
